Rear Admiral (Ret.) Jonathan A. Yuen brings over 35 years of distinguished leadership and operational experience in global logistics, supply chain management, and organizational transformation.

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Admiral Yuen served as a Supply Corps officer during a career that spanned three naval commands — USS Narwhal (SSN 671), USS Constellation (CV 64), and USS Nassau (LHA 4). His final posting was as Commander of the Naval Supply Systems Command and 47th Chief of Supply Corps, where he oversaw 110 worldwide logistics facilities, led a workforce of 28,000 military and civilian professionals, and managed more than $33 billion in inventory. Under his leadership, the Navy Exchange system achieved over $2.5 billion in annual sales while enhancing operational efficiency and resilience across the Navy’s global supply chain.

Admiral Yuen’s exemplary service earned him the Navy Distinguished Service Medal, four Legions of Merit, and the Bronze Star. His career reflects unwavering integrity, loyalty, and performance under pressure — qualities that align strongly with Volt Carbon Technologies’ mission to advance secure, sustainable, and strategic technologies for North America.

Beyond his military service, Admiral Yuen continues to advise leading organizations on leadership and transformation. He is a Senior Advisor with McKinsey & Company and has lectured at Duke University’s Fuqua/Coach K Center on Leadership & Ethics. He also serves as a Trustee of the Aircraft Carrier Hornet Foundation, sits on the Board of Directors of the National Industries for the Blind, and is a member of the Senior Advisory Panel for the National Naval Officers Association.

Admiral Yuen earned his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Sandra, reside in Mountain View, California.
